How Build Scale Grow Serve You in 2026

Our vision is a community that shares knowledge, practical insights, and resilience. Our 2026 goals support this vision.

First, let’s review last December’s goals:

  • Grow the newsletter from 7,000 to 10,000 subscribers.

Review: No. We committed to organic growth based on readers' interest rather than buying subscribers. We did reach nearly 8,000 subscribers.

  • Organize more in-person and online events

Review: Yes. By supporting The New York Tech CFO Group, we organized amazing events such as "Fundraising Tradeoffs" and "CEO/CFO Dynamic." We also work with Table, which offers monthly sessions to founders, advisors, and investors to collaborate and grow turning questions into insights and actionable steps.

  • Develop self-paced learning tools

Review: Yes. We created free email series on Introverted Founders Toolkit, Fully Harness Your Time, and Fundraising Tradeoffs.

  • Continue advising early-stage founders

Review: Yes. We mentored students across Columbia University, Columbia Business School, Duke University, New York University, and University of Massachusetts Amherst.

  • Consider writing a new book

Review: Strong Yes. My hesitation a year ago evolved into Silent Strength: The Introvert’s Guide to Building Successful Startups, a practical handbook for introverted entrepreneurs who want to succeed in the high-energy startup world without compromising who they are. I'm excited!

2026 Goals

A useful and resilient startup ecosystem relies on these four pillars, aligned with our values and held accountable with metrics where possible.

Connection: Organize in-person and online events with The New York Tech CFO Group and Table. Our goal is to support three events per month across the two groups where each event combine learning and connection.

Some upcoming events include:

  • Silent Strength: The Introvert's Guide to Thriving as a Leader [In-person] (Jan 28)

  • Silent Strength: The Introvert's Guide to Thriving as a Leader [Online] (Feb 4)

  • Finance Leaders Happy Hour (Feb 11)

  • CFOs and the Board: Finance Leaders at the Center of Strategy and Scrutiny (Feb 25)

  • Profit and Purpose: Building Impactful, Resilient, and Lucrative Businesses (Mar 4)

  • CFO Breakfast (Mar 11)

  • Trust, Tech, and the Bottom Line: CFOs at the Frontline of AI Risk (Mar 25)

Also, monthly Table sessions alternating in the mornings and evenings.

Education: Support introverted founders through events, podcasts, and speaking engagements centered on themes from the books Silent Strength: The Introvert’s Guide to Building Successful Startups and Scale: Reach Your Peak, my first book.

We'll continue our weekly newsletter and incorporate more expert insights for founders who often "don't know what they don't know." I'll also consistently post on LinkedIn and in this blog, and expand to other platforms and videos.

Optimism: New founders are not shackled with what doesn’t work. They eagerly desire to explore and solve complex problems. We'll continue supporting founders through Columbia, Duke, UMass, NYU, and other startup networks.

Founders face many non‑differentiated barriers to scale (accounting, legal, recruiting, etc.), and most often try to solve them alone or with little input. We want to build a platform where people can easily address these challenges by relying on technology and humanity. More to come.

Collaboration: Continue providing coaching, fractional COO support, and project work for founders in EdTech, health tech, and social impact. This goal has the least measurable outcomes, but as a pillar of our work, I want to include it.

As we continue this journey, please let us know how we can add more value.

Best,

~𝐵𝑒𝑛𝑗𝑎𝑚𝑖𝑛
